AFTER SO LONG....SO LONG...

Almost twenty years ago the House of Commons began. After a short while, the lineup solidified to include Omar, Gene, Trevor, and Mike. We created blisteringly loud concerts and some recordings that we can all be very proud of. Most importantly, we shared a bond, a friendship, a family. Music was the platform upon which we stood together through celebrations and cheers, marriages and births, tragedy and death. We faced it all together. It is both with fond memories and also sadness that we bid farewell to Omar Davis and Trevor Pierobon.

Omar, was our spaceman. The meticulous craftsman that kept us striving for the stars. He brought us down to earth with attention to detail and musicianship while launching us through the stratosphere with his soaring and imaginative lead guitar playing. Additionally, he is the one that almost single-handedly crafted our albums' sound into what it ultimately was. Sometimes that was a very tedious job. We will miss him and his presence as he moves on to new creative pursuits and professional aspirations. Please know that you've made us better musicians and helped us all appreciate being 'inside' and 'outside' the box. Go with our love and support brother!

Trevor, was our steam engine....our 'White Lightning'. He had one gear.....HIGH. He is much of the reason our music raged and blasted forth. In those times when we may have lacked precision or nuance, he made it special by throwing us all in the car and launching us down the highway with his energy and enthusiasm. He also kept us real with his sense of NO BS. He checked us, kept us relatable. He also kept a luscious full head of hair (something the rest of us cannot seem to manage). We will miss his energy, his enthusiasm, his passion. We wish him well as he explores his new opportunities and enjoys his life outside Toronto with his lovely partner. Keep channeling that lightning brother. Love you crazy man!

To our fans....be clear. We forge on. We have a brand new lineup to introduce to you in the coming days. We are excited to bring you a brand new album later this year, new video and media content, and of course....continue to make your ears bleed in the most desirable ways at our LIVE SHOWS!!!

So long Trev and Omar!
